The Story Behind Our Logo

The Story Behind Our Logo

When I started this journey, I wanted a name and a symbol that reflected more than just a place to stay—I wanted it to represent the feeling of renewal and comfort. That’s why our logo includes words like:

๐Ÿ’™ Recharge: To replenish your energy, filling your mind, body, and spirit with vitality after a period of stress or exertion. It's about finding moments that restore your inner spark, making you feel more energized and ready to face life’s challenges.

๐Ÿ’™ Recover: A return to balance and well-being after experiencing fatigue, illness, or emotional strain. It's the process of healing, both physically and mentally, allowing yourself to rebuild strength, peace, and resilience.

๐Ÿ’™ Reflect: To pause and think deeply about your thoughts, feelings, or past experiences. It's a time of self-awareness and insight, where you can learn from your journey, make adjustments, and find clarity on your personal growth.

๐Ÿ’™ Refresh: To reinvigorate your mind, body, or environment, bringing in a renewed sense of clarity and energy. It’s about clearing out the mental fog and creating space for new ideas, inspiration, and vitality.

๐Ÿ’™ Relax: To ease tension, quiet the mind, and let go of the burdens of daily life. Relaxation is about surrendering to a peaceful state, where your body and mind can rest and recharge without any pressure or expectations.

๐Ÿ’™ Renew: To give something a new lease on life, whether it's your health, energy, perspective, or surroundings. It's about embracing fresh starts, rekindling passions, and discovering new motivation for life’s pursuits.

๐Ÿ’™ Reset: To begin again with a clean slate, allowing yourself to let go of old patterns or distractions. It’s about shifting gears, refocusing your priorities, and embracing a new way of being or thinking that serves you better.

๐Ÿ’™ Rest: The simple act of stepping back and allowing your body and mind to fully relax. It's a vital part of self-care, essential for rejuvenation, and an opportunity to just be still without obligations or stresses.

๐Ÿ’™ Restore: To bring back to a state of health, wholeness, or equilibrium. It’s about repairing, mending, and healing both physically and emotionally, ensuring that you’re in a place where you can thrive once again.

๐Ÿ’™ Revitalize: To infuse something with new life, energy, and vigor. It’s about breathing new vitality into what may have felt stagnant or depleted, giving you the strength to approach life with a renewed sense of purpose and excitement.

๐Ÿ’™ Revive: To bring back to life, or to rejuvenate a part of yourself that has been worn down or forgotten. It's about sparking joy, enthusiasm, or creativity, helping you return to your best self with a fresh outlook.

Life can be overwhelming, and we all need moments to recharge, recover, reflect, refresh, relax, renew, reset, rest, restore, revitalize, and revive. These aren’t just words—they’re deep needs we all feel at different times.

I’ve found that no matter how much I try to find these things on my own, the deepest and most lasting peace comes from Jesus. His love, grace, and presence bring renewal in ways nothing else can. If you’re searching for true rest and restoration, I encourage you to turn to Him. Not in a religious way, but in a real, personal way. He offers hope, healing, and a fresh start to anyone who seeks Him.

Wherever you are in life, I hope you find the rest and renewal your heart longs for. ๐Ÿ’™

Each word holds meaning because I’ve been there—I know what it’s like to need a break, to crave a space that feels like a true retreat. That’s exactly what I hope to offer you at RVacationHomes.com.

From Closet Bed to Hidden Retreat: Why We Swapped Sleep for Rest

We’ll admit it: it’s a little weird. We had a bed in the closet . Not because we were out of ideas—just trying to make every square foot count. It fit. It had an AC vent. It was quiet, dark, and honestly? Some kids sleep better in full darkness anyway. In group travel, numbers matter—how many people you can sleep often determines whether a place gets booked or passed over. When we first set up our Airbnb, we thought the same. So we added a fold-out bed. It served its purpose: it bumped up our guest count. It filled a space. It checked a box. But it didn’t add value —not really. Eventually, we looked at that fold-out bed and thought: What if we gave guests something they didn’t expect? What if, instead of just another place to sleep, we created a place to rest ? So we got rid of the bed. And in its place, we added something better: ๐Ÿ’†‍♀️ A full-body massage chair —your own little escape tucked behind a door. Now, instead of squeezing in one more bed, we’ve created a spac...
